Question Answered
Hi, just had the "consider replacing the bulb" message appear. How do I find how many hours might be left on it? I'll probably buy a new one, but I wonder, is it worth keeping the old one, for emergencies? Asked by Richard K. On Jun 12, 2018
Every projector is different in terms of when the warning comes on. However, it is safe to say you have less than 50 hours to go. Now will be a great time to change the bulb out.
Answered by MyProjectorLamps On Jun 12, 2018Yes, keep the old bulb for emergencies, in case the old one breaks or blows, then you'll have a replacement until get an actual replacement. Depending on the projector, you can check how many lamp hours used by heading to the Main Menu of the projector, then selecting Options, and Lamp/Filter Settings. There it will show the LAMP HOURS USED.
